For four days, young aspiring soccer players in the Atlanta area had the chance to learn essential soccer skills from the professionals at UK Elite Soccer, courtesy of their Georgia Best Chevy Dealer.

Car Show and Family Fun Day

Family Fun Day is a benefit set up in memory of the late Jeanie Kern. Ms. Kern played a very large part in the Douglasville Community. Her kind heart and actions left a legacy. She was very passionate and worked very closely with the Douglas County Special Needs Program so all proceeds of Family Fun Day will benefit the program. Celebrating life, enjoying precious time with family and friends while benefiting the Special Needs Program would make for a perfect Spring Day in Ms. Kern’s eyes. So mark your calendars and get ready for a day that will not be forgotten.

So you ask what will Family Fun Day consist of??

• A live concert by 2012 Hollywood Contestant on American Idol, Clay Coley. (Bring your lawn chairs, and blankets and get ready for a GREAT show at the amphitheater.
• CAR SHOW brought to you by John Thornton Chevrolet. Also to anyone that wants to bring their cars out to put on display. What better way to show your car off then bringing it to a CAR SHOW for lots of people to see?
• Moonwalk, Face Paint, and Games for the kids.
• Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, boiled peanuts, etc. Yummy!
• With it being Mother’s Day weekend we will have a raffle just for the Mom’s! All Moms’ can enter to win a basket full of all the things a Mom would love!
• Raffles for local business within the community will be available to enter in to win.

Now that is the way to spend your Saturday! So, grab Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, and the kids and get ready to make some wonderful memories that will last a lifetime all while supporting an awesome cause!
