The Douglas County Rodeo, May 24th and 25th at Summer Moon Horse Ranch, Fairplay, Ga. (Hwy 166 between Post Road and Hwy. 5). The Gate opens at 6:00 PM and the Rodeo starts at 8:00 PM.
Between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM there will be fun activities – Mechanical Bull, Pony Rides, Bungee Jumping and a Rock Climbing Wall.
Kids’ events start at 7:30 with a Gold Rush, Best Dressed Contest and Clowns.
At 8:00 PM the Rodeo begins – Calf-Roping, Barrel Racing, Saddle Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Bull Riding, Clown Acts and much more!!
Also, all the great foods you can expect at a Rodeo: BBQ, Corn Dogs, Funnel Cakes, Philly Cheese Sandwiches, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Chicken-on-a-stick, Potato Ribbons, Italian Ice Cream, Roasted Corn, French Fries, Sausage Dogs, Gator-on-a-stick, Nachos, Chicken Fingers, Onion Rings and Boiled Peanuts.
