I highly enjoyed my service experience. My Service Advisor, Jermald Passmore, was amazing! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He made sure to keep me updated and let me know that my air filter was dirty and needed to be replaced.

Oil change was done quickly, but the checkout process took about 35 minutes. I believe they were short staffed.

I had a great car-buying experience at John Thornton Chevrolet when purchasing my new Chevrolet Equinox RS. I reserved the vehicle ahead of time so it would be ready for me to view and purchase, which saved a lot of time and made the financing process easier. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to see a VIP sign inside the car with my name on it. That was such a thoughtful and welcoming touch.
Once I decided to move forward with the purchase, everything went seamlessly. Amber (my sales agent) clearly presented the total cost and explained the available options with absolutely no pressure. I felt comfortable asking as many questions as I needed and taking my time deciding what made sense for me. The financing process was just as smooth and low-pressure, which made the entire experience stress-free.
I was honestly nervous going in, since I hadn’t bought a new car in over 10 years and didn’t know what to expect. But everyone congratulated me with smiles once the purchase was complete, which helped put me at ease and made the moment feel special.
I left the dealership feeling truly happy with my new car. As a fun bonus, they even took pictures of me with a bow on my Equinox, which made the day extra memorable. Overall, John Thornton Chevrolet made this a smooth, enjoyable, and positive car-buying experience from start to finish.

I continue to use dealership for service because I expect better service than that provided by independent auto shops. Since the independent shops want to charge as much as dealerships, I prefer using the dealership.
